Pittsburgh’s new business scene is booming lately with a wide variety of new businesses openings. This month’s roundup is extremely diverse and includes an art studio, several restaurants, and a new chiropractor’s office.


Flourish Wellness Practice- 3940 Middle Rd., Suite D, Allison Park

Dr. Katelynn Nardulli recently opened Flourish Wellness Practice, where she offers both chiropractic and functional medicine care. She is doctor of chiropractic and a functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner. She helps her patients reach their full potentials through the different services she offers. Atlas Art Press- 75 Shenot Rd., Suite D, Wexford

Atlas Art Press, a new art studio and store, opened up in February with a wide variety of class offerings. This studio has workshops for all ages from preschool to adults. One of Atlas’ goals is to help those experiencing tough challenges, such as addiction or grief, through art. They also have an array of art kits and paintings for sale. Their Make + Breathe™ Art Therapy Boxes assist in stress-relief and help increase mental well-being—and with each purchase, the store makes a donation to one of four charities helping a range of causes.

Atlas Art Press is open Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., as well as Wednesday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Workshops are by registration only. You can sign for a class on their website: www.atlasartpress.com.

Mosaic Leaf Matcha Tea Bar- 3511 Butler St., Lawrenceville

Mosaic Leaf Matcha opened their storefront in late October 2020, and offer a variety of matcha offerings, ranging from traditional to innovative, that you can try at their tea bar. They also sell different matcha blends, as well as tea ware in the store, so you can enjoy it at home.

Mosaic Leaf Matcha is open Wednesday-Friday 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and weekends 10 a.m.-4 p.m. You can purchase their matcha online at www.ultramatcha.com.

Cinderlands Taproom- 171 Wexford Bayne Road, Suite 101, Wexford

Cinderlands Beer Co. opened a new taproom in February, and this is the beer company’s third location, following its locations in the Strip District and Lawrenceville. This spot features 12 taps with beers including Star Crumb: Blackberry Cobbler and Squish Pale Ale, as well as a small food menu with dishes like pimento cheese dip and a shaved brussels salad. They also offer an assortment of to-go beers for those who want to imbibe at home.

Cinderlands Taproom is open Wednesday-Thursday 4 p.m.-10 p.m., Friday-Saturday noon-10 p.m., and Sunday noon-9 p.m. It is reservation-only for now, and you can reserve your table on their website at www.cinderlands.com/locations/cinderlands-taproom-wexford.
