Southern Butler County Garden Club’s 18th Annual Garden Tour is Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seven gardens are on the tour. Registration and day-of-event ticket sales are from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, located at 2525 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. North Park Observation Tower Fundraising Campaign Announced
The Allegheny County Parks Foundation today announced the launch of a public fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $20,000 to support the final phase of restoration for the historic North Park Observation Tower. Located at one of the highest elevations in Allegheny County, the 102-foot Observation Tower offers sweeping panoramic views across North Park and beyond. Once complete, the tower will reopen to the public, reconnecting visitors to a treasured piece of park history. Community members are encouraged to contribute to the public campaign and help ensure the Observation Tower reopens for future generations to enjoy. Community Acupuncture Sessions Hosted By State of Balance
Experience healing and relaxation at State of Balance’s monthly Community Acupuncture sessions, held every fourth Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Beautiful Creature: A Natural Radiance Spa, located at 120 E. Grandview Ave. in Zelienople. Community acupuncture offers a shared treatment experience where multiple patients receive acupuncture simultaneously in a calming communal space at a lower cost than traditional one-on-one sessions. The 18th Annual Shaler Garden Club Great Gardens Tour
Explore five spectacular local gardens during the 18th annual Shaler Garden Club Great Gardens Tour on Sunday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Shaler North Hills Library. Guests will tour stunning gardens in Etna, McCandless, Glenshaw, Wexford and Hampton, featuring pollinator habitats, organic gardening, edible landscapes and artistic outdoor retreats. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event and include entry to all five gardens and a chance to win a gift basket. The tour will be held rain or shine. McCandless Floral Celebrates 50 Years
Celebrate 50 years of blooms and community at McCandless Floral’s 50th anniversary event on Friday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 8601 Old Perry Highway in McCandless. Guests can join the celebration with specials, festivities and food from the Caliente Taqueria food truck, which will be serving from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
