CHROME Federal Credit Union Appoints Broc Sleek as President/CEO

CHROME Federal Credit Union announced the appointment of Broc Sleek as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026, concluding a comprehensive national search and marking the beginning of an important new chapter for the organization. Sleek succeeds Robert Flanyak, who is slated to retire in April 2026 after ten years leading CHROME’s cooperative mission and delivering meaningful service to its members across southwestern Pennsylvania. As CHROME looks ahead, Sleek will lead a talented team and engaged Board in advancing the organization’s core pillars—empowering employees, elevating the member experience, expanding membership, and strengthening long-term resilience. Building on CHROME’s financial strength and stability, his leadership will further deepen CHROME’s commitment to innovation, community stewardship, and purpose-driven service, ensuring every member interaction reflects the credit union’s values and its promise of financial well-being for all.

Friendship and fashion collide at the Galentine’s Day Fashion Show and Brunch on Sunday, Feb. 8 starting at 11 a.m., at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh. Cupid’s Undie Run

Get ready to strip down for a cause at Cupid’s Undie Run, coming to McFadden’s on Pittsburgh’s North Shore on Saturday, Feb. 21, from noon to 4 p.m. The event starts with a festive party, complete with music, dancing and refreshments, before participants take off in their underwear (or fun costumes!) for a mile(ish) run that kicks off at 2 p.m.This cheeky fun run and celebration raises awareness and funds for neurofibromatosis (NF), a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Tumor Foundation and its research efforts. Thousands of runners nationwide join in February, blending fitness, costumes and a post‑run dance party into a spirited afternoon of community and philanthropy. Whether you’re running, spectating or fundraising, Cupid’s Undie Run turns cold weather into warm hearts—all in the name of charity.
