Three New Businesses Provide Delicious Reasons to Dig Out


It’s cold, it’s snowy, and it’s hard to make yourself leave the house. But here are three new businesses in town offering tacos, donuts, craft cocktails and more that will make it worth digging your car out of the driveway!


Bocadillos Bar— 2827 California Avenue, Brighton Heights

Bocadillos Bar recently opened up in the old Stone Front Witch Way Inn space in Brighton Heights. This new restaurant will offer snacks from around the world, such as a variety of antipasto, charcuterie and cheese, and craft cocktails made with local spirits. Bocadillos Bar is open Monday-Friday 6 p.m.- 11 p.m. Check out more on their Facebook page.



Oliver’s Donuts— 4112 Butler Street, Lawrenceville

Oliver’s Donuts opened at Lawrenceville Market House, and is nestled among a variety of vendors selling unique wares. They have many unique donut flavors, including maple bacon and chocolate sea salt. They also have an extensive beverage menu for the perfect donut accompaniment. SLO Coast Taco Shop— 205 North Avenue, Millvale

Pittsburgh meets Southern California at this new taco spot in Millvale. Slo Coast Taco Shop is a food truck that is permanently parked in the borough, and serves up a variety of tacos and appetizers including shrimp ceviche and stuffed avocado. This food truck is accompanied by a large patio and heated tents, so you can enjoy their tacos year ‘round.

SLO Coast Taco Shop is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Check out more at www.slocoasttacoshop.com.
