New Business Roundup

Fall is here, and with it come some incredible new businesses to support! As always, restaurants are booming here in the ‘burgh and there’s a new vintage store to check out, too.




Mindy’s Take & Bake— 1100 N. Canal St., Sharpsburg

Looking for high quality, delicious meals without the effort of cooking? Check out Mindy’s Take & Bake, a chef delivery/pick-up service that brings homemade meals to your door. A new menu filled with seasonal dishes goes out every Sunday morning for delivery the following Saturday. They have a variety of mouthwatering dishes that they make each week, such as roasted red pepper and tomato bisque, smoked bacon wrapped meatloaf, and peanut butter cup brownies.


Mindy’s Take & Bake’s order period begins Sunday at 8 a.m. and lasts until noon Tuesday. You can check out the weekly menu online at www.mindystakeandbake.com.



Rear End Gastropub & Garage— 399 Butler St., Etna

Rear End Gastropub & Garage opened up a little over two weeks ago, making it Etna’s newest restaurant. The spot serves up classic American fare like burgers, sandwiches and salads, all out of a 1940s renovated automotive garage. The aim of the restaurant is to take diners on a trip to experience all of the U.S.’s regional dishes.


Rear End Gastropub & Garage is open Tuesday through Saturday from 3-9 p.m. with a limited menu. Check out their latest menu updates online at www.rearendetna.com.


Keystone Relics— 208 South Main Street, Zelienople

Keystone Relics is Zelienople’s newest Main Street storefront. This unique store buys and sells vintage goods such as clothes, housewares, decor and more. While the storefront is new, the business has been selling vintage goods on eBay since early 2021. They have an incredible selection of items, so you’re sure to find something you love.


Keystone Relics is open Tuesday and Wednesday 11 a.m.- 7 p.m., Thursday 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Check out their Facebook page for updates.
