The Joe Beretta will be hosting its annual Hopeful Hearts Valentine’s Gala fundraising event on Sat., Feb. 11, 2023 at the Grand Hall at the Priory Hotel on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. Guests can enjoy a delicious three-course meal, two drink tickets, dancing to fabulous entertainment by eight-piece powerhouse band, No Bad JuJu, and a tremendous silent auction as they dance the night away at this exquisite venue.
Tickets are $150 each, with parking included. VIP tickets are $250 each and include a wine and chocolate tasting in the VIP lounge with one gift bag per couple. Promo code HEART23 can be used for $20 off a ticket after February 1. A small fee exists for each ticket at checkout.

The Joe Beretta Foundation was established to meet the essential, non-medical needs of advanced heart failure patients, caregivers and their families by providing them with emergency housing and financial stability during times of crisis, as well as emotional support. Only 4 percent of hospitals nationwide are able to treat this disease, so the vast majority of patients must travel long distances to receive life-saving care, resulting in fear, isolation and financial distress.
The foundation currently serves patients in five hospitals across two cities, including UPMC Presbyterian and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, with aspirations of expanding their existing footprint. Since the foundation’s inception in 2016, they’ve assisted 1,100 individuals through all services and provided over 2,500 nights of stay for patients and their families. They’ve helped over 150 families from facing the choice between medical homelessness and hospice.
